About

Start where you are, know where you want to go and then find someone who can help you get there... step-by-step

We are all different, and different in so many ways. Our priorities, preferences and expectations are a mirror of our life experience and sometimes, those can get in the way of something really beautiful unfolding.

Before your little one arrives, know what matters most to you and get ready to make that one thing happen rather than trying to master everything all at once.

Missed opportunities

When we forget what our priorities are, it's easy to lose sight of what the next obvious step is, the one that will help you get closer to your goal or where you want to be. There are many different routes to get outcomes, you need to find the one that makes the most sense to you.

Don't worry if your breastfeeding doesn't start the way you envisaged it would. Work with what is happening and then tweak until it is what you'd hoped for.

Get off the hamster wheel

Take time to find your new flow as a mum, you aren't just changing gears, you're changing the entire vehicle.

Expect it to be slow to start with and overtime, feeds, settling, soothing, weight gain, night time stretches and everything in between become quicker.

Once this happens, you'll look back at where you started and realise that you are so much more than you were before your little one arrived ... and then you have your next baby and the whole up-levelling begins again 🫨

It's easy to lose yourself in the early days and weeks of being a mum. Whether you have breastfed before or not, everything is new and different. You aren't meant to have all the answers from the get go... nobody does... not even the Insta influencers!

It's normal to need some pointers - it's a whole new skill you're learning and your baby is learning too. You aren't alone or a failure if you ask for help... you're just a mum trying to do your best.
